Pets of the Week at the Pasadena Humane Society

Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:

Bug (A403431) is a 5-year-old, spayed female, blue point Siamese cat. This talkative feline is as affectionate as can be; Bug greets everyone she meets with a head bump and a meow. She absolutely adores head rubs and petting, and she enjoys climbing into laps. Bug has a close bond with her brother Darnell (A403432) and would love to find a new home together.

The adoption fee for cats is $70, which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations. Bug qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors program, so her adoption fee is only $20 for adopters age 60 and up.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

J.J. (A403288) is an adult, male, white and tan guinea pig looking for a new home. This sweet boy enjoys petting and burrowing in his bedding for a good nap. J.J. got along well with other guinea pigs in his previous home. Guinea pigs aren’t able to produce their own Vitamin C, so a proper diet should include plenty of timothy hay and leafy green vegetables, and occasional fresh fruit.

The adoption fee for guinea pigs is $10.
