Pets of the Week at the Pasadena Humane Society

Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:
Meet 4-year-old Blossom (A398550)! When this black and white longhair kitty first came to the shelter, she was very fearful and timid. Our staff and volunteers spent a lot of time with her to gain her trust, and Blossom has blossomed into a confident, affectionate cat! Once she gets to know you, she’ll be a fantastic companion. Blossom would do best in a quieter home. If you’re looking for a sweet, calm cat with a lot of love to give, Blossom is your gal! Blossom is available for adoption at Pet Food Express, 320 S Lake Ave, Pasadena.
The adoption fee for cats is $70, which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations.
New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.
Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A398550, or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found at pasadenahumane.org.
Toby (A391224) is a 10-month-old, neutered male, white pit bull mix with adorable black-spotted ears. This energetic pup walks very well on a leash, a skill he loves to demonstrate on walks in the park. He enjoys play time, especially with a rubber ball. Toby is also very affectionate; when he’s not busy tossing around his ball, he likes petting and cuddling. He still has a lot of great puppy energy, so Toby is looking for an active home who can provide him with plenty of exercise and affection.
The adoption fee for dogs is $125, which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations.
