LA County Arboretum’s “An Old-Fashioned Holiday” Open House and Family Activities

Stroll down memory lane and view treasures and furnishings normally seen only through windows of the charming Victorian-era Queen Anne Cottage. These historic facilities, decorated in Christmas finery, have become a Southland tradition for holiday visitors.

Lucky Baldwin’s National Register guest house is open to the public only twice a year, so be sure to add to your calendar this rare opportunity to tour the Cottage interior with knowledgeable docents. Baldwin’s matching Coach Barn will also be open. Down the path a short distance, the Santa Anita Depot will welcome visitors with docent-led tours.

An Old Fashioned Open House and Family Activities, will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2014, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden, 301 North Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia. The event is free with admission.
