Keithley Plumbing 10-6-2015

Keithley Plumbing 10-6-2015 2ndHave you ever wondered how a one-woman plumbing company runs?

Keithley Plumbing is about to let you in on some secrets of their daily operations. Here’s a breakdown of their days.

As with most small businesses, they work from their home. Their phones are open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and they also have an online appointment scheduler. The online scheduling tool is handy in a pinch but doesn’t show you the window of time so you receive a rescheduling email with a window of availability. Their answer machine is on before and after hours. When they are out of town or on a much needed vacation, a live person will take your call.

The work day starts at 7:30 a.m. and each time block is scheduled in windows. This window can be from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m., 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., 10:00 – 12:00, etc. They try to get as much information as they can from clients, but sometimes when they arrive to find unexpected jobs, their schedules are “all a fluff”…

As busy as they are, Keithley Plumbing schedules their jobs 2 to 3 days out and try to leave a window in case an emergency comes in. While almost every plumbing issue feels like an emergency, where are the industry-defined standards of what makes one.

Now you may ask yourself, what is a plumbing emergency?

Or, better yet, what does Keithley Plumbing classify as an emergency. In the plumbing field, an emergency is someone with no water, no hot water, flooding, toilets/tubs that are backing up, gas leaks, burst main line in the yard, water that won’t shut off.

They strive to keep every customer happy and every drain flowing. Keithley Plumbing keeps their workers happy and satisfy your plumbing need. They are more than willing to work with your schedule when it is doable but generally do not work Saturdays and Sundays definitely don’t work Sundays. But can assist with emergencies if needed.

Clogged toilets and backed up drains are no match for the busy Keithley Plumbers.
