Curated Housewares for the Pasadena Home

Lou & Grey offers a large selection hand-made housewares amidst its fashions

Friday, November 7, 2014

Celebrating its grand opening on November 6th, Lou & Grey has just opened its doors offering street-ready neutral looks and a wide selection of accessories, including housewares.

While their main emphasis is relaxed, texture-rich fashion (after all, they are a “sister” brand to LOFT), each L&G store has a carefully cultivated selection of books, jewelry, organic candles and small home accessories – all of which contribute to the easy, downtown aesthetic of the line. The brand is a firm believer in the makers movement – an effort to support small businesses that create, design and make pieces by hand.

Right now the Pasadena boutique plans to sell pieces from West Coast makers such as Janessa Leone hats and Earth Tu Face skincare products. Over the coming months, L&G Pasadena will continue to increase its assortment of local makers to ensure the boutique is in aligned and in tune with the neighborhood.

In addition to working to cater their hand-made selection to Pasadena’s tastes, their Creative Director of Design, Austyn Zung who has over 15 years experience working with some of fashion’s most iconic and influential brands, like Oscar de la Renta, John Bartlett, Isaac Mizrahi and Gap, originally hails from Pasadena.

It seems like they get us already.

Lou & Grey is located at 110 W. Colorado Blvd, Pasadena.  For more information, please call or visit http://www.louandgrey.com/
