Pets of the Week at the Pasadena Humane Society

Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:

Howard (A392702) is a 4-year-old, neutered male, German Shepherd. This loveable, 85-pound giant is friendly with people and kids. Volunteers report he’s affectionate, walks well on leash and is well-behaved. He’s been quite a hit when out with our mobile unit. Howard excelled in Shelter School, earning a blue ribbon for his mastery of the “sit,” “down” and “stay commands. He even knows shake! Come meet this smart cookie today! Howard is already neutered and up-to-date on vaccines, so he is ready to go home with you today!

As a Blue Ribbon Dog, Howard’s adoption fee is $100. The regular adoption fee for dogs is $125, which includes thespay or neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

Katsura (A393901) is a 5-year-old, neutered male, white, domestic shorthair. If you are looking for a quiet and mellow cat, Katsura is your guy! Katsura can be shy with new people but once he gets to know you he is as friendly as can be. He is often found hanging out by his kennel window watch people go by. After all that hard work, he likes to curl up in a ball and go to sleep. Once he is comfortable, he enjoys lots of attention and will even tell you about his day. Katsura is available for adoption at Pet Food Express in Pasadena.

Katsura is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and ready to go home with you today!
