Pets of the Week at the Pasadena Humane Society

Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:

Flip (A403878) is a 5-year-old red-eared slider turtle with a penchant for sunbathing! Like most red-eared sliders, he thoroughly enjoys going for a good swim, but you can most often find him lounging on a rock basking in the sun’s warm rays. A proper enclosure for Flip should include plenty of real or artificial sunlight to make sure he can produce enough of his own Vitamin D to keep him happy and healthy.

The adoption fee for turtles Flip’s size is $15.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

Harvey (A403926) is a 1-year-old, neutered male, tan Chihuahua. This playful boy has a lot of puppy energy and is looking for an active home. Harvey has gotten along well with other small, energetic dogs on our Mobile Unit. He likes to play and enjoys going for walks. After he finishes playtime, Harvey can’t wait to climb up into your lap for some love and affection. He might even treat you with some kisses! This smart pup is more than happy to sit for a treat. He would benefit from basic obedience training in his new home.

The adoption fee for dogs is $125, which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations.
