Pets of the Week at the Pasadena Humane Society
Tuesday, October 4, 2016
Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:
Kimber (A406152) might take her time getting to know you, but once she does she’ll love you forever! This 8-year-old, spayed female, blue cream longhair cat won’t be able to get enough of your attention, seeking affection the second she sees you. She especially enjoys head rubs. This senior kitty is looking for a quieter home where her personality can really shine. Kimber qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors program, so her adoption fee is only $20 for adopters age 60 and up.
The adoption fee for cats is $70, which includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations.
New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.
Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A406152, or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found at pasadenahumane.org.
Mindy (A364226) is a 4-year-old, spayed female, white and black pit bull mix. She enjoys being petted and loves meeting new people on visits out on our Mobile Unit, where she has done well around other dogs her size. When she’s not busy winning over our volunteers and staff with her friendly, affectionate personality, Mindy enjoys showing off her obedience skills for a treat. This smart girl knows her sit, down and stay commands, earning her a Blue Ribbon from our behavior staff and reducing her adoption fee to $100.
The adoption fee for dogs is normally $125, but since Mindy has earned her Blue Ribbon her fee is just $100. This fee includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations.
