Pets of the Week at the Pasadena Humane Society

Monday, October 31, 2016

Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:

Chaplin (A407673) is an adult, male, white rabbit with an adorable dark brown ring around one eye. This adventurous bunny loves playtime. Whether he’s busy hopping around our rabbit enrichment playpen as quickly as he can or bopping every toy in sight with his chin, Chaplin is constantly on the lookout for new sights and smells. Once he’s satisfied his need to explore, Chaplin calms down and looks for affection. Chaplin is easy to pick up and loves being held and petted.

The adoption fee for rabbits is $30 and includes the spay or neuter surgery and a microchip.

New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.

Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A407673, or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found at pasadenahumane.org.

Prada (A406299) is a sweet 2-year-old, spayed female, brown pit bull mix who loves toys! She’d love to find an active home with an adopter who’ll toss around squeaky toys and play tug of war with her. An absolute sweetheart, Prada is super friendly with people and plays well with other dogs. She’s a regular out with our mobile unit, where she shows off her sit, stay, and down commands for visitors. Her mastery of basic obedience commands has earned her a Blue Ribbon from our behavior staff, reducing her adoption fee to just $100.

The adoption fee for dogs is $125 and includes the spay or neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations.
