Pets of the Week at the Pasadena Humane Society
Tuesday, August 15, 2017
Here are the Pets of the Week available for adoption at the Pasadena Humane Society this week:
Meet super sweet Heidi (A429271), a 2-year-old calico cat. Heidi can be a bit shy at first, but she is very friendly and loves getting petted once she’s comfortable. Her favorite things are head rubs, catnip toys and event tummy rubs. Heidi came to us missing her left eye. We are not sure what happened, but she’s looking for an understanding owner.
The adoption fee for cats is $75. All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before being adopted.
New adopters will receive a complimentary health-and-wellness exam from VCA Animal Hospitals, as well as a goody bag filled with information about how to care for your pet.
Call the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA at (626) 792-7151 to ask about A429271, or visit at 361 S. Raymond Ave. in Pasadena. Adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. Directions and photos of all pets can be found at pasadenahumane.org.
Dallas (A356029) is a mellow 4-year-old terrier mix. This friendly boy loves people of all ages. He even participated in our Summer Critter Camp with kids ages 9-12. He loves going for walks and does great on leash. Dallas likes getting petted and especially enjoys belly rubs. He already knows his “sit,” “down” and “stay” commands, reducing his adoption fee to just $100. Dallas appears to get along well with other dogs, but would prefer a home with no cats. If you’re looking for a fun-loving big dog, stop by and meet Dallas.
The adoption fee for dogs is $130. All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before being adopted.
