Say Hello to Spring with a Garden Party!

Usher in the beautiful spring season at Armstrong Garden Center’s Spring Garden Party on March 12, Thursday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

“It’s really a customer appreciation event but we call it a garden party,” says Tom Purnell, assistant manager of Armstrong Garden Center.

“We typically have quite a few items on sale and then we have champagne and appetizers. So they can come in and enjoy their time at the garden center.”

This is your opportunity to go around the garden, meet fellow green-thumbs who are equally excited about the spring season, and of course, source for inspiration for your gardening.

“We’re going to have lots of material here: herbs and vegetables, fertilizers, planting mixes, tools, anything you would need for a home garden,” Purnell says.

These, of course, go hand in hand with the weekend garden classes that Armstrong Garden Center hold for free. The classes, Purnell adds, are meant to boost the customers’ confidence. “We give them tips so they don’t have to make as many mistakes as we have in the past!” he jokes.

During the party, you can also check out Armstrong Garden Center’s new array of products.

“We’ll have specials on quite a few things.” Purnell adds that the complete list of products are yet to be revealed.
