Shema Dougall Design Continues to Shine with New Projects

Established in 2008, Shema Dougall Design is an excellent extension of the 20-year-old firm Dougall Design Associates. Included in their elite roster of projects are the Beijing Longyun Shopping Center in Beijing, The Forums Shops at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, and Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California.

Recently, Shema Dougall Design was commissioned to design two major projects: The Lotus Casino in Sacramento and The Bicycle Hotel and Casino in Bell Gardens, California.

Founder David Shema talks more about the Lotus Casino project: “We’ve completed the design concepts for the expansion of a very successful casino in Sacramento. The new design will celebrate the loyal players and attract new guests as the expanded gaming area will be the finest of its kind in the region,” says Shema.

“We worked very closely with the owners to interpret their goals and tastes into a beautiful new look, while carefully listening to the functional needs to ensure the operational success,” he continues.

The Bicycle Hotel and Casino, known for its poker tournaments, will be opening up a brand new hotel this fall. “To complement the new hotel, the Bicycle selected Shema Dougall Design Associates to develop a new look for their casino. When completed, the new design will set the bar for the highly competitive local market.”

Shema also adds that their firm is currently working on the restaurant inside Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula.
