“He built his own,” says Rafael Gallegos employee at Pasadena Lumber and Supplies “…he would come in and get a little bit of advice here and there, but he did everything himself.”

“I actually ran over there a few times,” says Rafael of his decking customer “I fixed a few problems, helped each day, little things like that.”

They are not just there to sell, they are there to make sure your project transfers from idea to reality. Talking about the customer who built his own deck Rafael says at one point he could see the customer had reached his limit.

“He walked in one Saturday morning and I could see that he was tired of it. I told him to go home and rest, have a beer, and he did that.”

Luckily, that advice gave the budding lumber-jack the motivation he needed to reach his goal. Their relationship was evident when after the decking was finished, as the customer invited a few members of the Pasadena Lumber team over for a barbeque and beers.
